News articles need more than anecdotes. They need hard facts. There is a mountain of data out there and publicly available, but most journalists don't know how to access it or use it. This workshop will show you the basics on finding data and analyzing it using MS Excel.

This session will be limited to a max of two per school, with a strong preference for those who can bring their own laptops with Excel. A sign-up form will be avaliable here the week before the event.
