Students are quick to stand up in a crowd against racial injustice and intolerance, for example. But when young journalism students have to conduct 1-on-1 interviews with oppositional sources about charged topics like race, religion, extreme politics they tell me they get very uncomfortable. This workshop explores this and will help them push through their fears to get wonderful stories.
